Try Out Sounds & Tunes
Our timers and counters include a wide range of built-in sounds and musical tunes. This page lets you preview them instantly - no downloads, no setup. You can use these sounds for:
- Countdown timers
- Alarms and reminders
- Count up/down feedback
- Classroom tasks, workouts, or events
You can also use your own MP3 files from the web for unlimited sound options.
Sounds
Short sound effects that work well for alerts, notifications, and quick feedback. Click any sound to hear how it will play in one of our timers or counters.
Tip:
Use short sounds like Beep, Bell, or Buzzer for precise timing. They start quickly and are easy to recognize.
Tunes
Longer musical clips are great for alarms, transitions, or when you want something more noticeable. Click any tune to hear how it will play in one of our timers. Some will make you want to get up and dance like Cuban Piano 98s.
Tip:
Tunes work best when you want a clear "event finished" signal, like the end of a timer or session.
How to Use These Sounds
All of these sounds are available directly inside our timers and counters.
- Select a sound from the Sounds or Tunes list
- Adjust volume to fit your environment
- Use Repeat to see how the sound cycles
- Pair short sounds with frequent events, and tunes with longer timers
Use Any Sound from the Web
You're not limited to the built-in sounds. You can link to any publicly accessible MP3 file.
Tips when using external sounds:
- Some MP3 files include silence at the beginning or end, which can cause a slight delay
- Short, trimmed audio files work best for precise timing
- Make sure the file is hosted on a reliable server
- The server must allow cross-origin access (CORS), or the sound may not play.
