About

We provide web users with a set of online timers, alarm clocks, and counters for everyday use.

For years we've been developing timing tools for ourselves and other organizations.  In 2026 we launched Timer123.com with a new set of timing tools where the focus was to make them easy to use, setup, and to customize when desired.

Good tools should just work, with little or no setup, and stay out of your way.  Start a timer in seconds, or customize it to fit how you work.  Use your own sounds, adjust colors and layouts, save setups, and share them with others.

Our goal was not to add complexity, but to give users control when they wanted it, and simplicity when they didn't.

Timer123.com provides timing tools for people who need their online timer, alarm clock, or counter, to just work.

John Whitney - Software Developer

From the Developer

I launched Timer123.com to release a new set of timers, alarm clocks, and counters that I had created.  My goal was to make them easy to use, but fully capable when needed.

For years I've been creating timers and alarm clocks for fun, and TimeMe.com is where I first launched timers in 2005.  They have helped millions of people time everyday things for 20 years now.  But their look and feel was getting a bit dated.

So, I created new software engines for timers, alarm clocks, and counters.  These I built from the ground up, and they use no third-party libraries or frameworks, other than my own.  That includes my own obfuscating, minimizing, and tree-shaking website builder, which makes the timers and the website run lickety-split fast.

These timing tools were created so users could set alarms and then go about their other work, letting the tools run in background tabs or minimized windows.

Each tool has settings the user can adjust to fit their needs.  These allow selecting their own alarm sounds or picking from 50 built-in sounds, changing colors, re-labeling the tools, and even changing the background to an image for a totally new look.  See Steampunk Alarm Clock

Then their custom timer or alarm clock can be saved as a link that they can bookmark or share with others who can then use the tool as they set it up.  Of course the tools are all resizable, will work on any computer platform with a modern browser, and support devices from desktops to mobile phones.

The ads pay for the website and I worked to make sure they don't interfere with using the tools.
